I use statscounter for all my website you can have many projects that you can track and keep updated information and it is is real time as well. Very nice script.

I prefer AwStats, built into cPanel.
And Mint is also very nice.

Quantcast is the best tool to rate the site based on traffic rankings, but yu have to quantify to get accurate details.

If you want personal counter, you can choose google analytics or addfree counters.

I personally use both apart from my checking my cpanel awstats.
