Example:

Creating a test using the information is easy. For instance. If you write a bunch of material about how to ride a bike and then using that information you make the test that will be given at the end you can just look at the material and get some good questions to ask. You know the answers can be found in the literature because you can see it there before you ever wrote the test.

Now, STOP thinking like that! What if you were to write the test first? I know it sounds crazy but think about it. If I make the test first I will be able to figure out "what" I want to teach the reader of the material. I will know what to teach because I will already know what the test is going to be about, including the questions that will be asked. Because i have the end in mind I can more effectively write the learning piece.

Have you ever done one of those maze puzzles where you "start here" and "end here"? Have you ever doen it backwards? It is a whole lot easier to solve then the other way around.

This can be applied to most aspects of life and can be attributed to success. I don't want you to abandon all starting points. I am saying to Start with the end in mind.
What is the ultimate goal? The end result of your work? Then decide what milestones are needed to achieve the end result and what steps are necessary to achieve those milestones.

Think about what I just wrote and say them the other way around...it doesn't even make sense does it?

Code:
what steps are necessary to achieve those milestones. Then decide what milestones are needed to achieve the end result. What is the ultimate goal?

So next time you are wanting to Buy a domain or develop a site or start an online business think about what the outcome will be first and then figure out what you need to do to make it happen.

Just some advice to make your mind work!

Thanx,

I can see this working for smaller websites, yes. Its not for me though. By starting with the end in mind, you are limiting your goals. What will you do once you reach them? Chances are, youll be a lost puppy.

For me, its always good to just work step by step from the bottom. I have no "end design" in mind, I just go as the wind (does the internet have wind?) takes me. So far it seems to ahve worked decently, so I dont think ill be changing my style anytime soon.

This is a nice guide though, and it will work for 99.9% of people. As always, there has to be us weirdos out there to be unique
